What to Expect? A warm welcome from the fellowship of this "Big" little church. We are a congregation of believers who enjoy worshipping the Lord each time the sanctuary doors are opened. We have a wonderful Pastor and his wife (Brother Jim and Wylene Brunk) who have been with our church since November of 2016.
Perhaps Psalm 100 summarizes the atmosphere at Cookson Baptist Church:
"Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;

We are passionate about making every single person who walks in the door feel welcomed and feel like they belong. We dress casual! Many wear T-shirts and jeans, some ladies wear dresses or pant suits but the majority wear every day clothes.
WHEN I ARRIVE, WHERE DO I GO?

The CBC Outreach Ministry is focused on serving people! There are 2 main entrances to the our buildings. Both have greeters and greeters tables! If you come for Small groups/Bible study a greeter will show you were you will go!
I'M A STUDENT IS THERE A PLACE FOR ME?

We love that you are interested in coming to our church! Our youth meet in the Education Building for Sunday school and midweek service! Our students, Grades Pre K and up will have Small Groups/Bible Study starting at 10:00 am. It is great to have you!!!
